Pretty Pearl Shop is a Latina-Owned , Faith Based Jewelry brand based in the Chicagoland Area, founded in 2021 and created by self-taught Janina Ivelis Castillo. What began as a creative passion has grown into a small business built on fatih, resilence and a love for handcrafted design.
For the past four years, Pretty Pearl Shop has specialized in unique, handcrafted jewelry made with polymer clay, resin, arylic paint, and beading. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to reflect beauty , individuality and creativity. In addition to ready to wear collections, my shop also offers custom jewelry desigsn, wholesale opporunities for retailers or customers, and beginner polymer clay jewelry classes for those interested in learning the craft.
Janina is a full time stay at home mom who homsechools her autistic son, balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship while building a business rooted in purpose and passion. As a self-taught artist, she has grown her brand through dedication, community connections, and particpation in numerous pop-up markets through-out the city of Chicago.
Pretty Pearl Shop has been featured in multiple shops, highlighted on podcasts, and Youtube, and reognized in the Chicago Sun-Times and also included in the Illinois Microbusiness Calendar, celebrating small businesses across the state.
At its heart, Pretty Pearl Shop is more than jewelry, its a story of faith, perseverance, and the beauty of creating something meaningfull with your own hands.
